Advancing Circular and Intelligent Textile Solutions

Frankfurt am Main, April 2026 — Representatives of the TEX-BREIN project consortium actively participated in TECHTEXTIL 2026, the leading international trade fair dedicated to technical textiles and nonwovens. The event served as a strategic platform to showcase the project’s latest achievements, strengthen industry collaboration, and promote innovative solutions for a more sustainable and smart value chain in the textile industry.

During TECHTEXTIL 2026, consortium members established contacts with stakeholders from across the textile ecosystem, including manufacturers, recyclers, decision-makers, and research organizations. The project team presented progress in developing state-of-the-art solutions that enable the automatic identification, classification, and valorization of textile waste, contributing to a reduced environmental impact and improved resource efficiency.

This international event marks an important milestone in the strategy for disseminating and applying the project’s results. It provides an opportunity to exchange knowledge, gather feedback, and explore opportunities for synergy with other initiatives aligned with the principles of the circular economy and sustainable innovation in the textile industry.
