  • Sustainability standards and certification schemes
  • Core product safety standards

The textile and apparel sector is increasingly shaped by the evolving EU regulatory framework. New initiatives, such as the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), restrictions on hazardous substances, significantly influence product design, production processes, and market access across the European Union.

At the same time, end users expect not only functionality and quality but also transparency, sustainability, and credible information on product safety. Certifications therefore play a key role by providing reliable, impartial standards in a market with diverse approaches to communicating sustainability.

The webinar will offer a structured overview of the regulatory frameworks shaping the textile and apparel sector, certification systems for sustainable products, EU compliance requirements, and practical measures for integrating sustainability standards into organizational strategies.
